Une ann\u00e9e importante pour la vari\u00e9t\u00e9, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant un int\u00e9r\u00eat manifeste du march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais pour cette fraise. Cette nouvelle vari\u00e9t\u00e9 club d&#8217;origine italienne pleine de promesses fut pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e lors du dernier salon IAD \u00e0 Bordeaux par Jean-Michel Bourrousse de l&#8217;entreprise Sedima (diffuseur de Tray-plants et mini Tray-plants de cette vari\u00e9t\u00e9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freshplaza.fr\/remote\/https\/agfstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/misc\/FP_fr\/2025\/11\/17\/KARA2.jpeg?preset=ContentFullSmall\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 club \u00e0 haut potentiel de production<br><\/strong>Produite sous licence, Kara\u00ae est r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux membres du club D\u00e9lices Rouges, un r\u00e9seau de producteurs agr\u00e9\u00e9s. Deux entit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises d\u00e9tiennent actuellement la licence : l&#8217;une \u2013 \u00e0 la fois producteur et metteur en march\u00e9 \u2013 dans le sud-est et l&#8217;autre, metteur en march\u00e9 dans le sud-ouest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Les producteurs ind\u00e9pendants peuvent toutefois, s&#8217;ils le souhaitent, faire une demande au club pour obtenir l&#8217;autorisation de la cultiver \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise Jean-Michel Bourrousse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vari\u00e9t\u00e9 remontante, la plantation de Kara\u00ae s&#8217;effectue dans le sud-est en d\u00e9cembre-janvier, pour une r\u00e9colte d\u00e8s avril. \u00ab Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 haut potentiel de production. Sur le premier jet, \u00e0 partir d&#8217;un tray-plant on approche les 700 \u00e0 800 grammes \u00e0 la r\u00e9colte par plant et sur le second on peut d\u00e9passer les 1,2 kilos (poids cumul\u00e9). Sachant que la production peut se poursuivre jusqu&#8217;aux premi\u00e8res gel\u00e9es \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freshplaza.fr\/remote\/https\/agfstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/misc\/FP_fr\/2025\/11\/17\/KARA3.jpeg?preset=ContentFullSmall\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9sistante dot\u00e9e d&#8217;une longue conservation<\/strong><br>Mais si cette vari\u00e9t\u00e9 nourrit beaucoup d&#8217;espoirs, c&#8217;est parce que Kara\u00ae pr\u00e9sente d&#8217;autres atouts qui la rendent particuli\u00e8rement comp\u00e9titive : \u00ab Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 avec une excellente tol\u00e9rance \u00e0 l&#8217;o\u00efdium et une moindre sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la drosophile que la plupart des autres vari\u00e9t\u00e9s du march\u00e9, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire l&#8217;utilisation de produits phytosanitaires. Elle pr\u00e9sente des fruits d&#8217;un beau calibre et bien rouges. Mais son plus gros atout r\u00e9side dans sa capacit\u00e9 de conservation, qui peut d\u00e9passer les 8 jours. C&#8217;est une fraise qui tient et qui garde une bonne fermet\u00e9 m\u00eame en \u00e9t\u00e9 lorsque les temp\u00e9ratures sont \u00e9lev\u00e9es. Un avantage qui engendre moins de perte \u00e0 la fois pour le producteur, le metteur en march\u00e9 et le consommateur \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freshplaza.fr\/remote\/https\/agfstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/misc\/FP_fr\/2025\/11\/17\/kara1.jpeg?preset=ContentCustom\" alt=\"\" width=\"178\" height=\"258\"> Mais pour pouvoir amener Kara\u00ae \u00e0 exprimer pleinement son potentiel, un certain savoir-faire est n\u00e9cessaire. \u00ab Kara\u00ae, c&#8217;est un peu la Ferrari de la fraise. Les r\u00e9sultats peuvent \u00eatre impressionnants, mais il faut que le pilote soit bon !
