The goal is \u00abto reach those markets through more efficient logistics, thus helping preserve quality.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Euroandes, the Asian market represents growth potential that has yet to be fully tapped. While consumption is already remarkable in China and northern Asia, partly because they are also producing regions, countries such as India, Thailand, and Singapore \u00abare growing\u00bb and are perceived as a \u00ablong-term\u00bb opportunity. Christian identified logistics as the region&#8217;s main challenge. Reducing sea transit times from South America would, in his view, \u00abmake the product more accessible and drive consumption growth.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On market requirements, Christian said that with the development of domestic consumption in each country, standards tend to rise; a trend already clearly visible in China and also emerging in Singapore and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freshplaza.com\/remote\/https\/agfstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/misc\/FP_es\/2026\/09\/07\/WhatsAppImage2026-09-04at12.29.07.jpeg?preset=ContentFullSmall\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"229\" height=\"305\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freshplaza.com\/remote\/https\/agfstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/misc\/FP_es\/2026\/09\/07\/WhatsAppImage2026-09-04at12.29.13.jpeg?preset=ContentCustom\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the current campaign, the Euroandes representatives said that prices are generally on the rise following a European season still dominated by local fruit. They explained that Peru is already a leading supplier in this early phase thanks to its proprietary varieties, though volumes will peak with free varieties such as the Ventura and Emerald. Weather conditions, they said, have resulted in fruit production dropping by \u00ab40\u201350%\u00bb in some cases, depending on the variety and the field. In the end, Peru&#8217;s total volume may be similar to last season&#8217;s, but with a \u00abmore stable\u00bb pricing environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Peru&#8217;s positioning, both representatives said that while China accounts for the largest share of global production, Peru remains the world&#8217;s leading exporter, with a campaign running primarily from August to February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a group, Danper currently works across eight product lines, five of which are fresh: grapes, blueberries, avocados, mangoes, and asparagus, the latter with a smaller share in recent years.
