International Asparagus & Berries Days

Organized by Macfrut, Befve&Co. and Interco Nouvelle-Aquitaine, this international trade show brings together the entire asparagus and berry sectors.

Many asparagus growers are also berry producers.
Several suppliers offer products for both asparagus and berries.
Marketers are often shared by the two sectors.

👉 A clear complementarity, a synergy meeting growers’ needs, and an expanded offer benefiting all.

Tuesday, October 7 – Asparagus Tour (Gironde – 33)

Visit of Vignobles Bouillac (100 ha of vineyards, 20 ha of vine nurseries, 15 ha of asparagus marketed under the Blayais PGI).
With Jean-Pierre Bouillac and Danielle Chambaraud (President of the Blayais Asparagus Growers Association).

Tuesday, October 7 – Berries Tour (Lot-et-Garonne – 47)

St Armand Nurseries & Fruits Rouges du Confluent
(12 ha of strawberries under greenhouse = 900–1,000 T/year, 20 ha of strawberry nurseries = 7 million tray-plants, 40 ha of kiwis).
🍓 Lunch included.
Aquisol: 60 ha of greenhouses (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries), conventional & organic production, vegetables grown both in soil and hydroponics.

Friday, October 10 – Berries Tour (Dordogne – 24)

Teychenné Family Farm, member of the Socave cooperative: traditional open-field strawberries (PGI Périgord) and unheated hydroponic remontant strawberries.
Invenio Experimental Station (Douville): varietal research and technological innovation for fruit and vegetable growers.

Outdoor demonstrations: planting, maintenance, harvesting, equipment.
