Asparagus harvesting: A machine suitable for all situations
The cultivation of green and white asparagus takes place differently in different parts of the world. Sometimes there are small differences, for example, in the size of the height or width of the mulches, which, though, make some types of harvesting machines unusable compared to others.
In light of this, the Forlì-based company Bagioni Technology has decided to introduce an innovation that makes harvesting machines totally versatile. “We have customers with different needs based all over the world, so we wanted to provide a definitive solution. With our V26 Solar machine, everyone can have the right solution for their needs. For example, it is possible to adjust its ground clearance and width. It has three different driving system configurations, set up according to the most frequent needs,” explains owner Aurenzo Bagioni.
This advanced model has two 900-watt (i.e., electric) motors with an oil-cooled clutch, a two-speed gearbox, a height-adjustable seat, batteries with a battery charger and battery indicator in the control panel.
“Then there are the optional extras, such as the 455-watt double-sided solar panel, the sunroof, the cushioned seat with armrests, the digital dashboard with data transfer, and the cooling of the control plant for tropical climates.”
Despite receiving many orders and a worldwide turnover, Bagioni still boasts an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.
