Movement of asparagus from Peru imports through South Florida ports of entry is expected to remain about the same. Trading moderate. Prices large much higher and standard higher. 11-pound cartons bunched green jumbo and extra large supplies in too few hands to establish a market, large mostly 25.75-26.75 and standard mostly 24.75. White supplies are in too few hands to establish a market. Supplies are short and very light. The domestic market is winding down earlier than normal, and Mexico is short on supplies due to hot and dry conditions. Quality and condition are variable but generally good. Movement of asparagus crossings from Mexico through Arizona, California and Texas is expected to remain about the same. Trading active.
